NEW YORK, NY

Flatiron Health today announced that Virginia Cancer Institute, one of the premier independent cancer centers in Virginia with over 20 physicians, selected OncoEMR® to better manage clinical workflows and further their partnership with Flatiron Health.

Virginia Cancer Institute, an early adopter of Flatiron Health’s first of its kind advanced analytics tool, OncoAnalytics®, will now be able to leverage a leading oncology specific, cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) that offers clinical pathways and regimen content, as well as partner supported programs and content at the point of care.

“We chose OncoEMR because we wanted an innovative, cloud-based EHR with the tools and workflows that would allow our clinicians to treat our patients effectively and efficiently, today and in the future,” said Dr. Brian Mitchell, President, Virginia Cancer Institute. “Having already experienced great results with Flatiron’s business and clinical intelligence tool, OncoAnalytics, we wanted to build on our partnership with a progressive and responsive company whose goal is to provide exceptional value to community oncology practices.”

OncoEMR and OncoAnalytics are part of the Flatiron Health OncologyCloud® software suite. Together, Flatiron’s integrated OncoAnalytics and OncoEMR solution will enable Virginia Cancer Institute to access deeper insights and identify further opportunities to enhance the quality and value of care they provide to their patients.

“We look forward to continued collaboration with Flatiron Health,” said Dr. Mitchell. “With a shared vision for improving the quality and value of patient care, they are a great partner as we navigate alternative payment models and other ways to better support our patients throughout their entire cancer journey.”
